Vintage Scottish Silver Skean Dhu, Edinburgh c1936
DescriptionA nice vintage Scottish Silver Skean Dhu made in Edinburgh and dating from c1936/37.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "TE" for Thomas Kerr Ebbutt, the Scottish "thistle" silver mark, the "castle" Edinburgh town mark and date letter "f" for 1936/37.
It is in good, used condition. There is a couple of minor indents to the silver mounts and a chip off the handle (see photo).
The total length is 7 1/2" inches (190mm). The blade measures 3 1/4" inches(85mm)
