DescriptionA good quality, rare, George IV, Antique English Sterling Silver Teapot made in Newcastle and dating from c1825.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "CR/DR" for Reid & Son (Christian Ker Reid & David Reid), the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the "three castles" Newcastle town mark, the Leopard's Head crowned and date letter "K" for 1824/25.
