Victorian English Silver Cream Jug, c1863
DescriptionA very good quality, heavy, Victorian English Silver Cream Jug made in London and dating from c1863.
It is hallmarked with the the maker’s mark "JB/EB" Thomas Bradbury & Sons (Joseph & Edward Bradbury), the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the London town mark, and date letter "h" for 1863/64.
It is nicely engraved and has a central cartouche that is free of initials.
