DescriptionAn extremely nice, good quality silver basket made by George Edward & Sons, Buchanan Street, Glasgow.
The basket is hallmarked with the maker's mark "DE/GE" for George Edward & Sons (David & George Edward), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Sheffield town mark and date letter "n" for 1905/06. Also stamped with the maker's name "Edward, Glasgow".
The decoratively pierced bowl supported on three feet.
