Movado Chronometre Purse Watch Travel Clock c1930
DescriptionA Movado Ermeto Chronometer silver cased, purse style, travelling pocket watch/clock.
The watch in the form of a purse, the ends are pulled open to reveal the watch face. The opening and closing action also automatically winds the watch.
The dial is in good unrestored condition, with some minor marks consistent with age.
The "0.925" standard silver case is in very good condition. It has the serial number 1221419 and also stamped "Swiss Made, Patent, Fab Suisse" above the Glasgow town import mark, ".925" for sterling silver and the date letter "h" for 1930/31.
The outer case has a shagreen cover.
DimensionsIt measures approximately 50mm x 35mm when closed, 75mm x 35mm when opened.
