Cased Vintage Pair Silver Sauce Boats c1940
DescriptionA good quality, cased Pair of George VI, Silver Sauce Boats.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "DD&S" for Davis, Duff & Son, Royal Exchange, Glasgow.
They were assayed in Birmingham, hallmarked with the maker's mark "DD&S", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter "Q" for 1940/41.
They are complete with their original presentation case/box. The interior stamped with the maker's name "Davis, Duff & Son, 27 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow, Est. 1824"
