George III, Irish Silver Cup, Dublin c1806
DescriptionAn Antique, George III, Irish Sterling Silver twin handled cup made in Dublin and dating from c1806.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "RS" for Richard Sawyer, alongside Hibernia and Crowned Harp with the date letter "K" for 1806.
There is a central cartouche with engraved initials, a similar cartouche to the other side that is free of initials.
It measures 7 1/4" inches (185mm) in height to the top of the handles.
