Scottish Silver Sugar Tongs, Edinburgh 1834
DescriptionA pair of Scottish Silver Sugar Tongs made by Thomas A Finlayson of Glasgow and dating from 1834/35.
They were assayed in Edinburgh the maker's mark "TAF" for Thomas A Finlayson, the Edinburgh castle town mark, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the date letter "C" for 1834/25 and the Monarch's Head duty mark.
There is an engraved initial on teh end (see photo)
