James Gordon is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1766 - 1806.
The ladle has an oval silver bowl with twisted baleen stem and silver terminal.
It is stamped with the maker's mark only "IG" for James Gordon of Aberdeen.
DimensionsIt measures 16 1/2" inches (420mm) in length.
The bowl measures 3" x 2 1/2" inches (75mm x 65mm appprox.)
