DescriptionA very good quality Set of Six, Scottish Provincial Silver Dessert Spoons made by John Heron of Greenock and dating from c1826.
John Heron is recorded as working in Greenock c1800 - 1830.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "Heron" for John Heron of Greenock, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Glasgow town mark, the Lion Rampant Scottish Thistle mark and the date letter "H" for 1826/27.
The are in excellent condition. They have engraved initials.
