DescriptionA very good, rare, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver Soup Ladle made in Dundee by Edward Livingstone dating from c1795.
Edward Livingstone is recorded as working in Dundee from c1790 - 1800.
The ladle is marked with the Maker's Mark "EL" (struck twice) for Edward Livingstone, alongside the "Pot O' Lilies" Dundee town mark and the letter "m".
It has the initial "H" engraved on the handle.
DimensionsIt measures approximately 15" inches (380mm) in length. The bowl is approx. 4" inches (100mm) in diameter.
