Scottish Silver Coffee Pot, Glasgow 1934
DescriptionA very nice, Scottish Silver Coffee Pot or Hot Water Pot made in Glasgow and dating from c1934.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JF", the Glasgow town mark, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark and date letter "l" for 1934/35.
It is in very good condition and has a nice Stags head crest to the front.
The base is "loaded" as is common with this type of item. This is when a heavier metal is in the base to lower the centre of gravity and prevent the item toppling over.
