Scottish Provincial Silver Dessert Spoon, Aberdeen
DescriptionA very good Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Desset Spoon made by John Leslie of Aberdeen.
It is hallmarked with the maker's "IL" for John Leslie alongside the letters "A,B,D" the town mark for Aberdeen.
John Leslie is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1774 - 1821.
The spoon has the engraved initial "M".
