The ring hallmarked with the maker's mark "JHW", "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "U" for 1969/70.
It has a red enamel Knights Templar cross on a white background. There are the initials "PD" to one side, "EP" to the other, both in blue enamel.
