Scottish Farming Silver Medal Stonehaven Xmas Show
DescriptionA very good, antique, Victorian, Scottish Silver Agricultural Medal dating from c1881.
The medal was presented to James Smith by Brown & Murray at Stonehaven Xmas Show for a pen of Black Faced Sheep.
The medal is not fully hallmarked, but has the maker's mark AITCHISON for James Aitchison, Edinburgh.
The circular medal measures approximately 45mm in diameter. The weight is 34.3g.
It is in excellent condition.
