DescriptionA nice pair of George III, Antique English Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs made by Peter, Anne & William Bateman in London and dating from c1801/02.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "PB/AB/WB" for Peter, Anne & William Bateman, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and date letter "F" for 1801/02.
They measure just under 5 1/2" inches (140mm) in length. The weight is 31.7g.
They are in good condition.
