Scottish Provincial Silver Ladle, Cameron Dundee
DescriptionA rare, Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made in Dundee by Alexander Cameron and dating from c1830.
Cameron is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Dundee c1818 to 1840.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark AC for Alexander Cameron, Dundee, alongside the Scottish "thistle" silver mark, the Pot O' Lillies Dundee town mark and letter "C".
The ladle is in excellent condition.
It measures 6 1/2" inches (165mm) in length. The weight is 33.7g.
A lovely item that can also be used as a sauce or cream ladle.
