Scottish Provincial Silver Serving Spoon, Aberdeen
DescriptionA very nice Scottish Provincial Silver Serving Spoon or large Table Spoon by William Jamieson, Aberdeen c1810.
William Jamieson is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1806 - 1840.
The spoon is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WJ" (struck twice) for William Jamieson and "ABD" the Aberdeen town mark.
It measures just over 8 1/2" inches (220mm) in length. The weight is 61.8g.
It is in excellent condition, a lovely addition to any collection, or for use on a special occasion.
