A very good quality, early 19th century, George IV, English Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop made in London and dating from c1824.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "IL/HL/CL" for John, Henry & Charles Lias, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "i" for 1824/25.
This marrow scoop is in excellent condition.
It measures approximately 8 1/2" inches (215mm) in length.
The weight is 45.2g.
A lovely example of English Georgian silver for the antique silver collector.
