Rare Octagonal Rolex Oyster Wristwatch
DescriptionA very good, vintage, Lady's ROLEX Octagonal Silver Wristwatch dating from 1929.
The inside of the silver case has Glasgow silver import marks along with the date letter "g" for 1929/30. It is also stamped "Rolex 20 World's Records".
The Swiss made, 15 Jewel, Rolex Ultra Prima movement, timed to 6 positions and in good working order.
The dial signed "Rolex Oyster" and also has the original retailer's name "Robertson & Watt".
Robertson & Watt are a family firm of Jewellers still in business today in High Street, Dundee. They were established in 1841.
