Victorian Silver Dressing Table Box Sheffield 1887
DescriptionA lovely Antique, Victorian, English Silver Dressing Table Box.
The box is hallmarked on the rim of the lid and the underside of the base with the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the maker's mark "H.A" for Atkin Brothers (Henry Atkin), the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the Sheffield town mark and date letter "U" for 1887/88.
There are engraved initials to the centre of the lid.
It measures approximately 78mm in diameter and 70mm in height. The weight is 117.3g/4.13oz/3.77ozt
