Scottish Silver Presentation Snuff Mull c1834
DescriptionA good, Antique, Scottish Silver mounted Ram's Horn Snuff Mull dating from c1834.
The snuff mull is of conventional form, the domed silver lid with a central agate cabochon.
The silver lid of the mull engraved with a presentation inscription:
Presented by the Hamilton Horticultural Society to Mr Matthew Gardner as a mark of respect, 1834"
The body of the mull in good condition, there are a couple of minor indents to the lid as can be seen.
The silver mounts unmarked as is the norm, therefore selling as white metal.
This mull measures approximately 3 1/4" inches (90mm) in length.
