Antique English Silver Porringer Cup, Sheffield
DescriptionAn antique Edwardian English Sterling Silver Porringer Cup made in Sheffield by James Deakin & Sons and dating from c1910.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JD/WD" for James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Sheffield town mark and date letter "r" for 1910/11.
A very nice, plain silver cup that is in excellent condition. A couple of extremely minor small indents, barely noticeable.
It measures 3 1/4" inches (81mm) in diameter and just under 2 1/2" inches (60mm) in height. The weight is 86.6g/3.05oz/2.78ozt
