Pair Scottish Silver Gravy Spoons, Edinburgh c1811
DescriptionA superb pair of Antique, George III, Scottish Sterling Silver Gravy, Basting or Stuffing Spoons dating from c1811.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JZ" for John Ziegler, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the "castle" town mark for Edinburgh and date letter "f" for 1811/12.
The spoons have engraved initials to the terminals.
They measures just over 13" inches (330mm) in length.
The weight is 198.5g/7.00oz/6.38ozt.
They are in excellent condition.
