George III, English Silver Onslow Basting Spoon
DescriptionA superb Antique, George III, English Onslow Pattern, Sterling Silver Gravy (Basting or Stuffing) Spoon made in London and dating from c1792.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GS/WF" for George Smith (III) & William Fearn, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "r" 1792/93.
It measures just over 12" inches (310mm) in length. The weight is 129.9g/4.58oz/4.17ozt
It is in excellent condition.
