Elgin Moray Scottish Farming Family Medal c1926
DescriptionA cased large silver Agricultural farming Medal awarded by "The Shorthorn Society" to Messrs Law of Mains of Sanquhar, Near Forres, Elgin in the north east of Scotland.
The medal with one side showing the head of "HM King George V, Patron, The Short Horn Society", the other engraved "Awarded to A.M., A.W. & O.J.LAW, at Westmorland & Kendal, Agric., Society's Show, 1926".
The medal designed by the medallist firm of Pinches, London, founded 1840.
The medal unmarked, therefore selling as white metal. It measures 2" inches (51mm) in diameter.
