Cased English Silver Presentation Trowel c1925
DescriptionA Vintage English Silver Ceremonial Presentation Trowel made by Elkington & Co in Birmingham and dating from 1925.
The trowel is hallmarked on the underside of the blade and on the silver collar with the maker's mark "E&Co" for Elkington & Co, the Lion Passant silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "A" for 1925/26.
This elegant, plain silver trowel is free of engravings therefore would be ideal for any presentation.
This is a lovely example of a very good quality presentation trowel that is in very good condition. It is complete with the original presentation case.
It measures just under 11" inches (275mm) in length overall. The blade approximately 5 3/4" inches (145mm).
