Scottish Provincial Silver Serving Spoons, Banff
DescriptionA superb, rare, pair of Scottish Provincial Silver Serving Spoons or Tablespoons made By John Keith of Banff. The spoons have engraved initials (see photo)
They are marked with the maker's mark "IK" for John Keith and the letter "B" for Banff.
John Keith is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Banff c1794 to 1824.
At 8 1/2" inches (220mm) in length these spoons would make a very nice pair of serving spoons.
They measure 8 1/2" inches (220mm) in length. The weight is 136.3g/4.81oz/4.38ozt
In excellent condition showing virtually no signs of wear.
