Swiss Quarter Repeater Pocket Watch c1860
DescriptionA very nice Antique, Swiss made Quarter Repeater Pocket Watch dating from c1860.
The dial is in very good condition, with the hours in Arabic numerals.
The gold case is unmarked therefore selling as yellow precious metal. It has nice decorative engraving to the rear. The inside of the rear cover has evidence of an old solder repair (see photo). The inner cuvette is a different material, not gold.
The Swiss made Quarter Repeater movement is in good condition. It is key wound and set with the key provided.
The watch measures 54mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 98.3g.
