George V, English Silver Trinket/Jewellery Box
DescriptionA good English Silver Trinket or small jewellery Box made by Henry Matthews, Birmingham.
The box is hallmarked on the underside with the maker's mark "HM" for Henry Matthews, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark and Birmingham town mark and date letter "o" for 1913/14.
The box is supported on four small feet.
It is good quality and in good condition, part of the rope chord around the top of the lining is frayed and become loose, a minor imperfection.
It measures 62mm in diameter. The weight is 62.0g
