DescriptionA very nice Antique, George III, English Sterling Silver Tray made by John Cox in London and dating from c1771.
The tray hallmarked on the base with the maker's mark "IC" for John Cox, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and the date letter "Q" for 1771/72.
It is supported on three feet.
It measures 6 1/2" inches (170mm) in diameter. The weight is 236.3g/8.33oz/7.60ozt.
It is in very good condition
