DescriptionA very good quality, large, heavy, Victorian English Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl made by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd and dating from c1896.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark for Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd , the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "a" for 1896/97.
It measures 7 1/4" inches (180mm) in width and 4 3/4" inches (120mm) in height.
The weight is 403.8g/14.24oz/12.98ozt
In excellent condition, only minor indents/pin holes on the bottom of the ball feet, a common imperfection.
