18CT Gold Hunter Chronograph Pocket Watch c1885
DescriptionA very nice Antique, Victorian 18CT Gold Centre Seconds Chronograph Hunter Cased Pocket Watch.
The heavy, English 18 carat gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "JW", the "crown and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "K" for 1885/86. There are the original owners initials engraved on the front cover.
The centre sunk white enamel dial is in excellent condition. It has the hours in roman numerals.
The stop facility operated by a slide on the case side band at five o'clock. The mechanism functioning correctly as it should.
The watch measures 51mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 111.6g.
