DescriptionA very nice George VI, English Silver Strawberry Dishes made by Nathan Bloom & Son, London and dating from c1942.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "NB&Sn" for Nathan Bloom & Son, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "G" for 1942/43.
The dish measures 8" inches (203mm) in diameter and 1 1/2" inches (38mm) in height.
The weight is 379.9g/13.40oz/12.21ozt.
It is in in excellent condition.
