DescriptionA nice Vintage 9 carat Gold Rolex Wristwatch dating from c1922. The case has the maker's name "W&D" for Wilsdorf & Davis, "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the London import mark and the date letter "g" for 1922/23.
In 1905 Hans Wilsdorf and his brother in law Alfred Davis founded "Wilsdorf & Davis". In 1908 they registered the trade mark "Rolex".
The movement is signed "Rolex, 15 Jewels"
