A very good, Illinois Watch Company, Springfield, Illinois USA, 17 Jewel, Pocket Watch, Size 18 and dating from c1900. The watch has a good, Railroad grade, Lakeshore 17 jewel movement. The movement is signed by the maker "Illinois Watch Co., Springfield". The white enamel dial is also signed by the maker "Illinois Watch Co.". The hours are in Roman numerals, with an outer chapter displaying 5 minute markers in red and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The watch complete with a nice original set of blued steel hands. The watch is "lever set", the time being set by opening the front "screw off" cover and extracting the small lever located at 2 o'clock before turning the winding stem to rotate the hands. The watch case has the case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Co., and stamped guaranteed silveroid. The case being made from alloy metal and has "screw-off" front and rear covers. Overall a good example in good condition and working order. The watch measures 58mm across the case. A very nice American Railroad Grade Pocket Watch for your collection.

A good, gentleman's American Elgin, Hunter Cased Pocket Watch dating from c1915. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The gold plated J Boss 20 year case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should. The white enamel dial is in good condition, but does have some faint hairlines as can be seen in the photo. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker Elgin. The good quality, Elgin 7 jewel Lever movement is in good working order. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown).

A good, Victorian American Waltham Royal, size 12S, sterling silver cased Pocket Watch dating from c1896. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The sterling silver case is in good condition. The case is of the type that the movement swings out from the front for inspection, the rear does not open. It is important to remember to pull the winding crown out to the hand set position, prior to attempting to swing out the movement. The case was made by the Crescent Watch case Company and is stamped Fine Silver 925/100 (sterling silver grade). The rear of the case with engraved initials. The case in very good overall condition.
