A very nice, vintage, English Silver Bowl made by Mappin & Webb and dating from 1946. A lovely two handled bowl with pierced rim. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "Mn&Wb" for Mappin & Webb Ltd, the anchor Birmingham town mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark and date letter "W" for 1946/47. Also stamped "Mappin & Webb Ltd".

It measures 5 1/2" inches (140mm) diameter at the top and just over 2" inches (55mm) in height (to the rim, excl. handles) The weight is 144.5g/5.1oz/4.64ozt

A nice Antique, Georgian, English Silver Meat Skewer made in London and dating from c1795. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GS/WF" for George Smith (III)/William Fearn, London, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark, the Monarchs Head duty mark and date letter "U" for 1795/96.

It measures 13" inches (330mm) in length. The weight is 99.3g/3.5oz/3.19ozt

George III, English SIlver Meat Skewer c1795
A lovely, helmet shaped, antique, Georgian English Silver Cream Jug made in London and dating from c1760. The jug hallmarks are a little worn but visible, the maker's mark "SM" for Samuel Meriton I, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark, the date letter worn but possibly "D" for 1759/60. It also has a nice armorial crest engraved to the front (see photo)

Georgian English Silver Cream Jug c1760
An antique, George II, English Silver Sauce Boat made in London and dating from c1745. It is hallmarked on the underside of the base with the maker's mark (worn), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "k" for 1745/46. Nicely decorated with various birds and a cartouche that is free of initials. It is supported on three feet, the initials "TB" engraved on teh underside of one foot.

It measures 130mm in length (spout to handle). The weight is 126.2g/4.45oz/4.06ozt

A very nice pair of Antique, Victorian, English Sterling Silver Serving spoons, complete with their original, velvet lined, fitted, presentation case. The spoons where made by Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson)in London and date from c1895. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "GMJ" for Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson), the Leopard's Head London town mark, the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria) and the date letter "U" for 1895/96. The case bearing the retailer's name "R L Rennison, Silversmith, Sunderland".

They measure just under 8 1/2" inches (210mm) in length. The combined weight (of both) is 130.3g/4.59oz4.18ozt

They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "WE/WF" for William Eley & William Fearn, the Lion Passant silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark, the date letter "I" for 1804/05 and the Monarch's Head duty mark. They also have an armorial crest engraved to the terminal. All six forks with lovely crisp hallmarks.
