The movement is signed by the maker "W E Watts & Co Ltd, St Michaels House, Gloucester, England". It has a nicely engraved balance cock with a rectangular panel with the date of manufacture "AD1892".
The gilt dial with engine turned engraving to the outer chapter and floral decoration to the centre.
It is complete with dust cover.
In good condition and working order.

A rare twin dial Pocket Watch, with a centre seconds chronometer dial to one side and a Tachometer to the reverse.
This watch is in excellent condition and good working order.
The gun metal watch case is in very good condition, but does have very light surface scratches as can be expected.
The movement is in working order. The watch is stem wound and pin set.
The centre seconds chronometer dial is in good condition with minor hairlines and a chip at 11 o'clock, the tachometer also in good condition with a minor chip(see photo).
The watch measures approximately 52 mm in diameter, measured across the case, excluding crown.

The English made silver case in good condition, but showing wear to the engine turned engraving and some enamel loss to the Roman numerals on the front.
The watch case hallmarked with the Lion Passant silver mark, the Birmingham town mark, the maker's mark "ALD" for A L Dennison and the date letter "d" for 1903/04.
The American Waltham movement in good condition and working order.
The glass is a plastic replacement.

The watch has a lovely decoratively engraved 18 carat gold case.
The front cover with the hours in blue Roman numerals on a pink enamel background. The enamel in excellent condition (the colour difference in the photo due to light reflection). The rear with a small cartouche with the engraved initials "MW". The case stamped "18K" for 18 carat gold.
The inner cuvette engraved with the original owner's name
"M Welsh, Ashburne Lodge, Partickhill" (Glasgow).
The good quality, 3/4 plate Swiss made movement in good condition and working order.

The watch is Swiss made. The silver case is marked "0.935" for 0.935 standard silver alongside Swiss control marks.
It has engine turned engraving with a central cartouche that has initials later engraved to the centre. It is in good condition with some minor indents.
The dial is signed "JG Graves, Sheffield" and Swiss Made".
The movement is in good condition and working order.
The glass is a plastic replacement, slightly discoloured.

A good quality, rare, 14CT Gold United States Watch Company (of Waltham) Hunter Cased Pocket Watch.
The U.S. Watch Company started in about 1885 and was sold to the E Howard Watch Company in 1903. They only made approximately 890,000 watches. The serial number of this watch is 89,943 dating it to c1892.
The 14CT solid Gold watch case is in excellent condition. It has lovely decorative engraving, the front with a small cartouche with the former owner's initials, the rear with a cartouche with a picture of a house.
The movement in good working order. It only runs about 12 hours but this is the full length of the wind.
The watch measures approximately 40mm in diameter. The weight is 48.9g

The plain English silver watch case is in excellent condition and hallmarked with the lion passant sterling silver mark, the leopard's head London town mark, the maker's mark "JWB" for JW Benson and date letter "A" for 1936/37.
The watch has a good quality, 15 Jewel, Swiss made movement, in excellent working order.
The dial is also in perfect condition.
Overall a very nice example, very difficult to find a better one.

A good Georgian English Silver Verge Fusee Pocket Watch made by Robert Buston, London and dating from c 1818.
The watch is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JM", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the crowned leopard's head London town mark and the date letter "C" for 1818/19.
Both cases are in good condition, but the small push piece is missing from the outer so it does not stay tightly closed, a minor imperfection as these watches are for the collector.
The outer case has a couple of old watchmaker's papers from "WS Kelt, Dundee".
The movement is signed by the maker "Robt. Buston, London" and has the serial number 2545. The balance cock is nicely engraved with the face of old father time.
The dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes marked at 5 min intervals.
The original bulls eye glass has surface scratches as can be expected in a watch over 190 years old !

The 9 carat gold watch case is marked "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold alongside the London import mark and date letter "m" for 1927/28. There are engraved initials on the rear of the case.
The jewelled movement is signed "Marc Favre, Precision", it is in excellent condition, recently serviced and very good working order.
The dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock.
