A vintage 9CT Gold, Swiss made, Gentleman's Wristwatch dating from c1956.
The 9 carat gold case is hallmarked with the maker's mark "BWC", "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "A" for 1956/57. The case is in excellent condition and free of personal engravings. Also stamped "London Made".
The Swiss made, 17 Jewel Buren movement is in good condition and working order.
It is complete with (probably) the original brown leather strap. This would benefit from replacement.
It measures 33mm in diameter.

The 9CT Gold case is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JWB" for J W Benson, "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "t" for 1934/35.
The good quality 15 Jewel movement is signed "JW Benson". Also signed "Swiss Made" - by this period JW Benson imported good quality Swiss movements for their watches.

A Movado Ermeto Chronometer silver cased, purse style, travelling pocket watch/clock.
The watch in the form of a purse, the ends are pulled open to reveal the watch face. The opening and closing action also automatically winds the watch.
The dial is in good unrestored condition, with some minor marks consistent with age.
The "0.925" standard silver case is in very good condition. It has the serial number 1221419 and also stamped "Swiss Made, Patent, Fab Suisse" above the Glasgow town import mark, ".925" for sterling silver and the date letter "h" for 1930/31.
The outer case has a shagreen cover.
It measures approximately 50mm x 35mm when closed, 75mm x 35mm when opened.

The manuel wind, Swiss made, mechanical movement is signed "Swiss, Seventeen Jewels" and also has the retailers name "Sears, Roebuck and Co.". The dial also signed "Swiss Made".
The case stamped "14K Gold" for 14 carat gold.
The expanding bracelt is 10K gold filled.
