An nice Antique, Victorian, English Silver Pocket Watch made by E Richard of Ryde on the Isle of Wight, and dating from c1877. The silver watch case is in good condition. It has engine turned engraving to the rear and a central cartouche that is free of initials. It is hallmaked with the Lion Passant silver mark, the Birmingham town mark, the maker's mark "ALD" for A L Dennison and the date letter "c" for 1877/78. The English Lever movement is signed by the maker "E Richard, Ryde" and has the serial number 387841. It is key wound and set with the key provided. The white enamel dial is in good condition with minor hairlines near the edge at four o'clock.

It measures 50mm in diameter.

A nice, antique, Gentleman's 14CT Gold Filled Hunter Cased Pocket Watch. The watch has a jewelled, 3/4 plate English Lever movement, serial number 118255. In good condition and in good working order. It is stem wind and pin set. The front cover hinge slightly weak, it opens slightly beyond 90 degrees. The glass is a later plastic replacement.

A vintage, World War Two era, Elgin Military Stopwatch. The movement signed "Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. USA". The serial number 40,985136 dating it to c1941. The base metal case is stamped "cased and timed by Elgin Nat'l Watch Co". The rear has the British Military Ordnance Arrow and "1/5 Sec TP".

WW2 Vintage Elgin Military Stopwatch
A very good example of a Victorian 18CT Gold Pocket Watch made by J W Benson of London. The case with full English hallmarks, "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the London town mark and maker's mark "JWB" for J W Benson, the date letter worn. The movement signed by the maker "JW Benson" and "The Ludgate Watch, Best London Make". It is also signed "By Warrant to H.M. The Queen" (Queen Victoria). There is a presentation inscription on the inner cuvette, dated March 1901.

It measures approximately 49mm diameter The weight is 108g

18CT Gold Pocket Watch J W Benson
A very nice, Antique, early Victorian, 18CT Gold Gentleman's Pocket Watch made by James Ritchie of Edinburgh and dating from 1837. The 18ct gold watch case is hallmarked with "crown" above "18" for 18 carat gold, the London town mark, the maker's mark "HH" and date letter "B" for 1837. The date letter "B" was at the very begining of Queen Victoria's reign, only used from 29 May until 20 June 1837. The case has engine turned engraving to the rear. There are some minor indents to teh edge of the cover as can be expected - it is approx 175 years old ! The gold dial is in good condition with minor surface scratches. The fusee movement is in working order and signed by the maker "Jas. Ritchie & Son, Edinburgh". Key wound and set with the key provided

It measures 41mm in diameter. The weight is 54.0g

The 10CT Gold watch case is in lovely condition, with decorative engraving all over, the front with the hours in blue enamel, the rear with a central cartouche with the letter "V". The movement signed by the maker "Am Watch Co., Waltham Mass". The serial number 6,302282 dating the watch to c1893. The dial is signed by the retailer "Hopkins & Hopkins, Dublin". There are faint hairlines on the dial. The watch is complete with an English hallmarked 9CT gold suspender in the form of a ribbon brooch.

It measures 34mm in diameter The total weight is 40.9g (including suspension brooch)
