A very nice Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle by George Booth, Aberdeen c1810. George Booth is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1800 - 1825. The ladle is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GB" (struck twice) for George Booth and "AB" (struck twice) the Aberdeen town mark. It is engraved with the initial "R"

It measures just over 6" inches (155mm) in length. The weight is 33.9g/1.19oz/1.08ozt

Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle, Aberdeen
A very nice antique, George III, Scottish Silver Teapot made in Edinburgh by J Mckay and dating from c1816. It is hallmarked to the base with the maker's mark "JMc." for J McKay, the Scottish Thistle silver mark, the Edinburgh "Castle" town mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and date letter "k" for 1816/17.

It measures just over 11 1/2" inches (300mm) in width (from spout to handle). The weight is 630g/20.2oz

A Set of Six, Antique, Scottish Provincial Silver Teaspoons made by William Jamieson, Aberdeen and dating from c1820. William Jamieson is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1806 to 1840. The spoons are hallmarked with the maker's mark "WJ" for William Jamieson and "ABD" for Aberdeen. They have engraved initials on the handles.

A Scottish Provincial Silver Soup Ladle made by Peter Gill & Son, Aberdeen c1820. Peter Gill & Son are recorded in Jakson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1812 - 1846. There is the initial "R" engraved on the handle (see photo).

Scottish Provincial Silver Soup Ladle,P Gill & Son
A superb pair of Art Deco Scottish Silver Sauce Boats made by James Ramsay, Dundee. They are complete with their original presenation case from the makers. They were assayed in Birmingham and are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JR" for James Ramsay (Dundee), the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the "anchor" Birmingham town mark and date letter "O" for 1938/39. The base is stamped with a design registration mark RD 752374.

They measure approximately 6 1/4" inches (160mm) in length. The combined weight (of both) is 315.0g/11.11oz/10.13ozt

Scottish Silver Sauce Boats, Ramsay Dundee
A very nice, pair off Scottish Provincial Silver Buckles made by William Robb of Ballater. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark in a triangular punch "ROBB BALLATER" and also the Edinburgh Castle town mark, the Scottish thistle silver mark and date letter "r" for 1898/99. They are of the pattern worn by the Balmoral Highlanders. They measure approximately 33mm wide by 26mm in height. The combined weight of both is 23.5g They are in excellent condition and would make a very good addition to any collection of Scottish Provincial Silver.

Scottish Provincial Silver Buckles, Robb Ballater
An antique, Victorian, cased presentation medal made by the firm of Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh. The prize medal presented by the Edinbugh Angus Club to Alex J Paton, Forfar Academy, dated 1896-97. It is unmarked therefore selling as white metal. The Edinburgh Angus Club was founded in 1840, and instituted in 1841. Its aim was 'encouraging friendly intercourse among the members and the advancement of education in Angus.'

It measures approximately 56mm in diameter.

Edinburgh Angus Club Prize Medal c1896
A nice, vintage, octagonal shaped English Silver Cruet Set. The cased set comprising of a Salt Cellar, Pepper Pot and Mustard Pot and two spoons. The Salt and Mustard Pot complete with blue glass liners. The spoons are replacements, not original, the smaller one is silver the larger silver plate. The Salt, Pepper Pot & Mustard Pot are hallmarked with the maker's mark "HCD" for Henry Clifford Davis, the lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "X" for 1959/60.

The pepper pot measures just under 3" inches (75mm) in height. The total weight iof silver is 109.3g/3.85oz/3.51ozt

A very nice, Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made by William Jamieson and dating from c1825. William Jamieson is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1806 to 1840. This example is rare as it is marked with the the maker's mark, "WJ" alongside Edinburgh assay marks for 1824/25. It has the initial "G" on the handle. A nice, rare Scottish Silver Ladle in very condition, with only some extremely minor marks felt in the bowl.

It is hallmarked with the maker's "G.B" for George Booth alongside the letters "A,B,D,N" the town mark for Aberdeen. George Booth is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1800 - 1825. The spoon has the engraved initials "WC". It is in excellent condition showing virtually no signs of wear, with only one very minor pin head sized indent in the bowl.
