One of the rings has the Gaelic Phrase "Anam Charaid" meaning Soul Mate. Three others with Celtic decoration. The fifth ring with two hands holding a vessel.

A Scottish Silver and Agate Set Ring. The ring hallmarked for Edinburgh and dating from c1973/74. Ring size UK "O".

A very nice 18CT Gold Diamond Set Ring, the ring constructed with two gold bands, one white gold, the other yellow gold, the textured front of each band set with five diamonds. The ring size is UK "P", USA 7 3/4. The weight is 5.5g. Each band 4mm in height, giving an overall height of 8mm.

A very nice, good quality 18CT Gold Ring, the band set with six brilliant cut Diamonds. The ring size is UK "T", USA "10". The band 4mm in height. The weight is 4.4g

A vintage 18CT Gold & Platinum set Three Stone Diamond Ring dating from c1936. The principal diamond flanked by two smaller sized diamonds to weigh approximately 0.3ct in total. The band stamped with the maker's mark "AWC&SLtd" alongside "18CT&PT". The inside of the band also inscribed "WR-CM 22-10-36". The ring size is UK P 1/2, USA 8

A pair of vintage, 9CT Gold and Enamel Masonic Star Rings. The Masonic Star ring (on the left of the photo) is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JHW" alongside "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "V" for 1920/21. The enamel swivel ring with similar marks (the marks worn).

A nice antique, Victorian, 18CT Gold Ruby & Diamond Set Ring. The central diamond flanked by a ruby on either side, set on an 18CT yellow gold band. The ring with full English hallmarks the maker's mark (worn), the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter "n" for 1887/88. The ring measures 5mm in height and is Size UK "J/K" and US 5.25

A lovely English 9CT Gold Ring set with a very nice, yellow Amber stone. The 9CT Gold band with full English hallmarks, the maker's mark "WD" alongside the anchor town mark for Birmingham and "9" for 9 carat gold, the ".375" mark and date letter worn. The ring measures 20mm in height by 17mm wide. The band 3mm in height. It is size UK "N", US 6.75

A contemporary 18CT White Gold Gentleman's Wedding Ring by Furrer Jacot. The 18 carat white gold band has a brushed finish with a polished curving strand through the centre. The ring is UK size U. It is 6mm wide and the weight is 9.1g. It was made by the Swiss manufacturer Furrer Jacot. The ring is stamped "SWISS" alongside the maker's initials "FJ" and ".750" for 18 carat solid gold. It also has the Swiss "dog's head" Assay Office Mark and the International Convention Control Mark with ".750" within a set of scales, to indicate 18 carat gold. The Schaffhausen based, Swiss manufacturer Furrer Jacot has been specialising in customised engagement, wedding and diamond rings since 1858 and have built a strong market position worldwide. This ring was originally retailed by the Aberdeen Jewellers, Jamieson & Carry. Jamieson & Carry are a family owned firm, established in 1733 and have traded from their current premises in Union Street since 1925. The ring is complete with the original presentation case from Jamieson & Carry and also the outer cardboard box. The ring currently retails at Jamieson and Carry for £1,240.
