A good set of Six Scottish Provincial Silver Tablespoons made in Aberdeen by William Jamieson and dating from c1825. William Jamieson is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1806 - 1840. The tablespoons are in very good condition. They have the engraved initial "B"

The spoons measure 8 1/2" inches (215mm) in length. The total weight is 369.0g/13.01oz/11.86ozt

Set of Six Scottish Provincial Silver Tablespoons
A nice, Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Punch Ladle by James Gordon of Aberdeen dating from c1780. James Gordon is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1766 - 1806. The ladle has an oval silver bowl with twisted baleen stem and silver terminal. It is stamped with the maker's mark only "IG" for James Gordon of Aberdeen.

It measures 16 1/2" inches (420mm) in length. The bowl measures 3" x 2 1/2" inches (75mm x 65mm appprox.)

Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Punch Ladle
An extremely nice, Antique, Victorian, Scottish Silver Fruit Bowl or Basket by the highly regarded silversmiths Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh, dating from c1898. Hamilton & Inches were established by Robert Kirk Inches and his uncle James Hamilton, opening their first premises at Princes Street, Edinburgh in 1866. The firm are still in Edinburgh today operating from their premises in George Street. They also hold the Royal Warrant as suppliers to the Queen. The bowl is in excellent condition. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "H&I" for Hamilton & Inches, the Scottish "thistle" sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh "Castle" town mark and date letter "r" for 1898/99.

It measures 10" inches (255mm) in width and 5 1/2" inches (140mm) in height. The weight is 360.5g/12.71oz/11.59ozt

A good Pair of Victorian Scottish Provincial Silver Sauce or Cream Ladles made in Glasgow and dating from 1868/69. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JM&S", the Glasgow town mark, the Lion Rampant Scottish sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria) and date letter "X" for 1868/69. They are in excellent condition. They have bright cut engraving and engraved initials.

A very good, rare, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver Soup Ladle made in Dundee by Edward Livingstone dating from c1795. Edward Livingstone is recorded as working in Dundee from c1790 - 1800. The ladle is marked with the Maker's Mark "EL" (struck twice) for Edward Livingstone, alongside the "Pot O' Lilies" Dundee town mark and the letter "m". It has the initial "H" engraved on the handle.

It measures approximately 15" inches (380mm) in length. The bowl is approx. 4" inches (100mm) in diameter. The weight is 193.5g/6.82oz/6.22ozt

Scottish Provincial Silver Tablespoon, Arbroath
A very nice, Scottish Silver Coffee Pot or Hot Water Pot made in Glasgow and dating from c1934. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JF", the Glasgow town mark, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark and date letter "l" for 1934/35. It is in very good condition and has a nice Stags head crest to the front. The base is "loaded" as is common with this type of item. This is when a heavier metal is in the base to lower the centre of gravity and prevent the item toppling over.

It measures approximately 6 3/4" inches (175mm) in height.

A very nice Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made by Charles Murray of Perth and dating from c1820. Charles Murray is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Perth c1816 to 1825. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "CM" (twice) for Charles Murray and the double headed eagle (twice) the Perth town mark. The ladle has a nice crest to the terminal with the motto "Provide" above two wasps.

It measures just over 6" inches (155mm) in length. The weight is 27.8g/.98oz/.89ozt
