A very nice, Antique, Silver Fob Pocket Watch by Kendal & Dent and dating from c1895.
The watch case is stamped for "0.800" grade Silver. The rear of the case has decorative engraving and has a central cartouche that is free of initials. The cylinder movement is in good condition and working order, running strongly. The dial is in good condition, signed "Kendal & Dent".

A very nice, Antique, Gentleman's Pocket Watch made by the Illinois Watch Company, Springfield, Illinois and dating from c1895. The Illinois Watch Co was in business c1869 - 1927.
The watch case is signed by the maker the "Philadelphia Watch Case Co." and stamped "Silverode". This was a special alloy that was developed which went by several different names, for example, "Silveroid or Silverode". The metal consisted of 45% nickel, 54% copper and 1% manganese. This metal was far more hard wearing than gold or silver and it could withstand the rigors of everyday use, therefore it was used for pocket watches that were used every day in a working environment like the railroads (railway).
The rear cover screws off to reveal the movement. It is signed by the maker "Illinois Watch Co, Springfield" and has the serial number 1,219249 dating it to c1895. The watch is stem wound and lever set. To set the time you need to slide out the small lever located at 5 o'clock, accessed by scewing off the front cover (see photo). The watch runs very strongly face up but sometimes stops if left in face down position, therefore a service recommended.
The dial is in good condition, signed by the maker.

A very good quality, 14 CT Gold Plated Waltham Riverside Pocket Watch in immaculate condition and in good working order.
The Gold Plated, English made watch case is in excellent condition, showing little signs of wear. Inside the rear cover is the case model name "Sun" and the maker's name "Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd". The inner cuvette stamped "English Make, Guaranteed to be made of two plates of 14CT Gold......and to wear 25 years". A very good quality Watch Case. The case has engraved initials (see photo).
This watch has the superb Waltham Riverside movement. A very good quality, high grade, 19 Jewel, Waltham movement is in excellent condition and working order. It is signed "A.W.W. Co, Waltham Mass". The serial number 13, 406733 dating the watch to c1904. It has a nice damaskeened finish and a micro-metric regulator, all signs of good quality. The watch is in excellent working order. The movement is stem wind and set.
The white enamel dial is in excellent condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock.

The 9 carat gold case is in excellent condition. It is hallmarked with "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold alongside the Birmingham town mark and date letter "A" for 1925/26 and maker's mark "ALD" for the Dennison Watch Case Co.
The good quality, high grade 15 Jewel Swiss made movement is in excellent condition and working order.

The silver case with full English Silver hallmarks for Chester 1874/75. The rear of the case with engraved central cartouche with engraved initials.
