A vintage 9CT Gold Gentleman's Wristwatch retailed by the Crown Jewellers, Garrard & Co Ltd. dating from c1977. The watch is complete with the original presentation case from Garrard & Co. Ltd. The dial is in good unrestored condition (see photo) and signed by "Garrard, Automatic, Swiss Movement". The Swiss made, 21 Jewel Automatic movement is in good condition and working order. The inside of the case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "DS&S" for D Shackman & Sons, the "crown" and ".375" for 9 carat gold alongside the Leopard's Head town mark and date letter "C" for 1977. Also the serial number 74787. The watch has a 25 Year presentation inscription on the rear of the case "AC Delco Division of General Motors Ltd, Presented to CP Musgrove for 25 Years Service, 1953-1978". A lovely, very good quality, 18CT Gold Demi (Half) Hunter Pocket Watch in immaculate condition and working order. The decorative 18CT solid gold case stamped 18K for 18 carat gold alongside the maker's mark "JS" and serial number 22338. The front of the case with the hours in blue enamel Roman numerals. Lovely floral engraving to both front and rear covers, the rear having a central cartouche that is free of engraved initials. The very good quality, Swiss made, jewelled movement with wolf's teeth winding wheels, all signs of quality. The white enamel dial in excellent condition, with the hours in Roman numerals. Overall a lovely example in excellent condition and working order. The watch measures 35mm across the case. The weight is 42.3g

A very nice 9CT Gold Pocket Watch by J W Benson of London and dating from c1938. The watch complete with a fitted case from the maker's J W Benson Ltd, Watchmakers, Jewellers & Silversmiths, 62 &64 Ludgate Hill EC4 (London). The watch has a very good quality, 15 jewels, adjusted, Swiss made movement for J W Benson. The 9CT solid gold case hallmarked with the maker's mark "JWB" for JW Benson, "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "C" for 1938/39. There are some minor shallow indents to the rear of the case. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition. signed "JW Benson, London". The watch measures 48mm in diameter across the case. The weight is 74.8g

A very good quality, Antique, Victorian, English Silver Hunter Cased Pocket Watch dating from c1883. The full plate, English Lever Fusee movement is in very good, clean condition and excellent working order. It is fully signed by the maker "George Dunn, Clerkenwell, London" and has the serial number 25317 to match the case proving both are original and have been together since new. It is nicely finished with a decoratively engraved balance cock, all signs of a good quality watch. The white enamel dial is in very good condition with the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The solid sterling silver case is in excellent condition. It has engine turned engraving to both front and rear, the front with a circular central cartouche that is free of initials. It is hallmarked with the case maker's initials "GJT" for George James Thickbroom (casemaker), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "G" for 1882/83. Adding interest to the watch there is a nice presentation engraving to the inner cuvette "Presented to Harry Smith by his Father Nov'r 3rd 1883". A lovely example of a Victorian Fusee Pocket Watch. The watch measures 48mm in diameter. The weight is 112.5g

A relatively rare United States Watch Company of Waltham antique Pocket Watch. The company was established in 1885. The watch has a nice, 15 Jewel, full plate movement with a lovely damaskeened finish. It is signed by the makers "U.S. Watch Co., Waltham, Mass". Also signed "A New Watch Company at Waltham, Est'd. 1885". The watch has the serial number 607,577 dating it to c1900. It is estimated the company may have produced up to 890,000 watches, a long way short of the 35 million produced by the American Waltham company. The watch is in a Dueber Silverine case. These cases are termed Nickel Silver and are an alloy of nickel, copper and zinc. They were used because they were extremely durable and have the appearance of silver but much stronger therefore idea for "working" pocket watches i.e. on the rail roads etc. The dial has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The outer minute chapter also numbered at 5 minute intervals. The dial is signed by the makers "United States Watch Co.". It is in good condition but has some hairlines as can be seen from the photo. The watch is in very good overall condition and in good working order. The watch measures 57mm diameter

Ltd with the De Havilland Aircraft Company Logo on the top. The dial is in good unrestored condition (see photo) and signed by "Garrard". The Swiss made, 17 Jewel movement is in good condition and working order. The inside of the case stamped "Dennison, Made in England". It is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "ALD" for A L Dennison, "9/.375" for 9 carat gold alongside the Birmingham town mark and date letter "J" for 1958/59. The watch has a 20 Year presentation inscription on the rear of the case "Presented to J.F. Balls by the Directors of the De Havilland Engine Co. Ltd for 20 Years Service, 1939-1959". The recipient starting work with De Havilland at the start of World War II. A nice interesting watch in very good overall condition and working order. A nice, vintage, TUDOR Oyster Gentleman's Wristwatch in good condition and excellent working order. The dial is in very good condition, signed "TUDOR Oyster" and "Swiss Made". The watch is manual wind. The winding crown with the "Rolex" crown symbol. The watch is in very good condition and working order with minor surface scratches commensurate with age. The watch measures approximately 34 mm diameter.

A very elegant 9CT Solid Gold Lady's OMEGA Automatic Wristwatch. The inner case hallmarked with the maker's mark "OWC" for Omega Watch Company, "9" and "0.375" for 9 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "q" for 1971/72. The dial measures 19mm in diameter. The total maximum length of watch and bracelet is 187mm. The total weight is 39.2g The watch is complete with the original red OMEGA presentation case/box and outer OMEGA cardboard box. It also has the original International Guarantee booklet, indicating the watch was originally purchased from an Aberdeen Jewellers in February 1974. A very nice, original, good quality watch.

The 9ct gold case has full English hallmarks the maker's mark "TR&S" for Thomas Russell & Son, "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Chester town mark and date letter "f" for 1931/32. The rear of the case with the original owner's initials "AG" above the date "1931". The movement signed "Thos. Russell & Son, Swiss made, 15 Jewels" The watch is in very good condition and working order with minor surface scratches commensurate with age. The watch measures approximately 25 x 25mm.
