A very good Pair of Edwardian English Sterling Silver Sugar Baskets. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "SILLtd" for Stokes & Ireland Ltd (William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Chester town mark and date letter "g" for 1907/8. The baskets were originally retailed by Mappin & Webb Ltd, the retailer's name stamped on the underside of the base.

They measure 5 1/2" inches (135mm) in width. The total weight is 236.7g/8.34oz/7.60ozt

A very nice antique, George IV, English Silver Cream Jug made in London and dating from c1821. The jug is hallmarked with the maker's mark "CF", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "f" for 1821/22.

The jug measures 6" inches (150mm) in length. The weight is 243.9g/8.60oz/7.84ozt

George IV, English Silver Cream Jug c1821
A good Antique, 18th Century, George III, Sterling Silver Tray made by Ebenezer Coker in London and dating from c1763. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "EC" for Ebenezer Coker, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "h" for 1763/64. The tray is supported on three hoofed feet and has shell decoration to the rim. There is engraved initials to the centre.

A very Large Antique, Edwardian English Silver Presentation Table Snuff Box made in Birmingham by George Unite and dating from c1908. The inside of the lid is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GU" for George Unite, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark and date letter "h" for 1907/08. The base similarly hallmarked alongside the Birmingham town mark. The box bears a presentation inscription "Presented along with a Gold Albert & Pendant to Alex Brown on his retiring after 45 years service with the Caly. Rly. Coy. by the Loco. Staff & Friends at Stirling." The exterior of the box with decorative floral engraving.

It measures 100mm x 70mm x 20mm. The weight is 194.7

A nice Antique English Silver lidded Box made by A & J Zimmerman, Birmingham and dating from c1901. The box is hallmaked the maker's mark "A&JS" for A & J Zimmerman, the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the Birmingham anchor town mark and the date letter. The date letter is worn, possibly "b" for 1901/02. The box has a hammered silver finish to the lid. The glass base with has scatches to the base through normal use. It measures approximately 85mm x 41mm x 28mm. The box is in good condition.

It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "AD" for Charles Adam (during this period they used the first two letters of their surname), the Britannia standard silver mark, the Lion's Head Erased London town mark and date letter for 1707/08. Charles Adam is recorded as working in London c1703 - 1718. The top of the caster with pierced decoration. It is also stamped with the maker's mark "AD". The main body with decorative engraving.
