A good quality Swiss Made Gold Plated Pocket Watch. The English made, gold plated watch case was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case in very good condition with little wear, just minor light scratches as normal. The good quality Swiss Made, 17 Jewels movement, signed by the maker "Limit". It has a micro-metric regulator, all signs of good quality. The dial also signed by the maker "Limit". The glass is a plastic replacement, showing some slight discolour.

A nice, Antique 9CT Gold Fob Pocket Watch on a fancy Albertina Watch Chain. The watch case with decorative engraving and a central cartouche to the rear that is free of initials. The inside of the rear cover hallmarked with the maker's mark "LW" alongside "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the London import mark and date letter "q" for 1911/12. The movement in working order signed "Swiss Made". The Albertina unmarked therefore selling as yellow metal.

A good Antique, Victorian Waltham Silver Hunter Cased Pocket Watch. The Silver Watch case in goon condition with engine turned engraving to both front and rear covers, the front having a central cartouche that is free of initials. The inside of the case stamped "Sterling" for sterling silver. The dial in good condition with Arabic numerals and signed "Waltham" The movement signed "AWWCo, Waltham Mass" alongside the serial number 9,294807 dating it to c1899. The watch in excellent condition and working order. Recently Serviced.

A beautiful Antique, Victorian 18CT Gold Fob Pocket Watch. The 18CT Gold Watch Case with lovely decorative engraving and a central cartouche to the rear that has engraved initials. The inside of the rear cover stamped "18K" for 18 carat solid gold alongside the serial number 190382. The inner cuvette (dust cover) is not gold. The dial with the hours in Roman numerals and decorative engraving to the centre. The Swiss made movement in excellent condition and working order.

An immaculate, antique,Victorian, 14CT Gold Fob Pocket Watch. The 14CT Gold case has lovely decorative floral engraving. The inner cuvette (dust cover) is metal, not gold. Serial Number 287007.

Antique, Victorian American Waltham Pocket Watch. The watch bears a police presentation inscription "Presented to P.C. J McCauley bu The Officers & Men of "J" D. Bethnal Green on his retirement after 19 years Service 1898" The dial is in good condition signed "American Waltham USA". The case is is in good condition but has some small, minor indents to the rear and wear to the gold plate. The movement in good condition and working order have been just cleaned and serviced by our watchmaker. It is signed "American Waltham USA, Traveler". The serial number 7,379887 dating its manufacture to 1896.

A very nice Antique, Victorian, Gentleman's Silver Pocket Watch by John McGilvray of Oban. The English Lever movement is in good condition and working order, signed by the maker "John McGilvray, Oban".It has a nicely engraved balance cock and diamond endstone. It is complete with dustcover. Key wind and set with the key provided. The silver case is in good condition. It is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "IH", the Lion passant sterling silver mark, the Chester town mark and date letter "F" for 1889/90. The dial is in good condition buy has a couple of faint short hairlines and minor blemish under the sub seconds dial (see photo)

An English Lever Fusee Pocket Watch movement. It is signed by the maker "D Barton, Leicester" with the serial number 13893. It is complete with dust cover. The dial has a chip to the centre and some hairlines. The balance swings freely but is not running, it will need serviced prior to fitting.

A centre seconds chronograph pocket watch movement, complete with dial and hands. The dial with some minor hairlines. The momovement runs a few seconds when given a gentle shake but will obviously need to be serviced prior to fitting to a watch case.

A very nice antique gold filled Waltham Hunter Cased Pocket Watch. The watch is in excellent condition and good working order. The gold filled watch case is in very good condition. It has nice engine turned engraving to front and rear, the front with a central cartouche that is free of initials. The inner signed by the case maker "Philadelphia Watch Case Co, Guaranteed Twenty Years". The watch has a good quality Waltham movement. It has a nice damaskeened. The movement is in good working order. The serial number 13,627005 dating its manufacture to c1904. The white enamel dial is in good condition, it is signed "Waltham". It has the hours in Roman numerals.

A nice 18CT Gold Fob Pocket Watch. The dial has the hours in blue enamel Roman numerals surrounded by gold decoration with gold to the centre on a pink background. The dial signed "J G Graves, Sheffield - Swiss Made". The inner cuvette is metal, not gold. The rear cover with lovely engraved decoration and a central cartouche that is free of initials. The case marked "18K" for 18 carat gold. John George Graves (1866–1945) was a successful English entrepreneur and public benefactor. He became Sheffield's Lord Mayor and an Alderman in 1926 and he was given Freedom of the City in 1929. He was born in Lincolnshire in 1866 and died in 1945, after having settled in Sheffield. Graves moved to Sheffield to become an apprentice watchmaker. He set up one of Britain's first mail order businesses, selling first watches and then a wide range of goods. A keen art collector, Graves donated nearly £60,000 towards the development of art galleries in Sheffield, including Sheffield Central Library, the Graves Art Gallery and the Mappin Art Gallery. He also contributed hundreds of pictures from his private collection. Graves donated over £1 million to Sheffield, including the establishment of Sheffield University's Student Union. Part of the Union building is known as the "Graves Building". He also made gifts of land to the city, including Graves Park.

A very nice and good quality Dennison Watch Case Company Box. The cardboard box would have held a Dennison Pocket Watch Case, as it was supplied to a jewellers/watchmaker's. Ideal for storing your antique pocket watch or movement if you don't have the original presentation case. The box will take a watch that measures approximately 50 mm in diameter, measured across the case, excluding the crown.
