A very nice, antique, Victorian, Scottish 18CT Gold Pocket Watch made by Mackay & Chisholm, Edinburgh and dating from c1875. The 18CT Gold case is hallmarked with the maker's mark "PW", the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "U" for 1875/76. The rear of the case has the original owner's initials "JE" for James Elliot. The inner cuvette with a presentation inscription to James Elliot dated 14th March 1877. The white enamel dial has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Mackay & Chisholm, Edinburgh". The movement is signed by the maker "Mackay & Chisholm, Edinburgh" and has the serial number 40603. It has a lovely engraved balance cock and diamond end stone. It is stem wound and pin set. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 99.5g

A very nice and very good quality, antique, Edwardian, Scottish 18CT Gold Pocket Watch made by Brownlee & Son, Edinburgh and dating from c1907. The 18CT Gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "JR" for Rotherham & Sons (John Rotherham) , the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "h" for 1907/08. The white enamel dial has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Brownlee & Son, Edinburgh" The movement is signed by the maker "Brownlee & Son, Edinburgh" and has the serial number 148957. It is stem wound and pin set. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 112.9g

A very nice Antique, Swiss made Quarter Repeater Pocket Watch dating from c1860. The dial is in very good condition, with the hours in Arabic numerals. The gold case is unmarked therefore selling as yellow precious metal. It has nice decorative engraving to the rear. The inside of the rear cover has evidence of an old solder repair (see photo). The inner cuvette is a different material, not gold. The Swiss made Quarter Repeater movement is in good condition. It is key wound and set with the key provided. The watch measures 54mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 98.3g.

A very nice Antique, Victorian 18CT Gold Half Hunter Cased Pocket Watch made in London and dating from c1876. The English 18 carat solid gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "HS", the "crown and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "A" for 1876/77. The case with nice engine turned engraving to front and rear, the hours in blue enamel Roman numerals on the front cover. There is a circular cartouche to the rear that is free of engraved initials. The case in very good condition but does have some very minor indents to the rear. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition. It has the hours in roman numerals. The three quarter plate English Lever movement is in good condition and working order. It is key wound and set with the key provided. The watch measures 47mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 80.6g. An fine example of a Victorian English Pocket Watch in excellent condition and working order.

A very good quality, decorative, antique, Swiss 18CT Gold Fob Pocket Watch dating from c1860. The rear of the case is stamped with "K18" for 18 carat gold alongside the maker's mark "F.F.P&Co." and the case serial number 10415. The inner cuvette (dust cover) signed "Fleischmann, Fritz Piguet & Co, Geneve". The outer cover has decorative engraving and an oval shaped cartouche that is free of engraved initials - see photo. The movement is in good condition and working order. The dial has the hours in Roman numerals. The dial in excellent condition apart from a small chip on the edge at three o'clock. It is in excellent condition and working order. It measures 33mm in diameter. The weight is 27.6g. A lovely watch in very good overall condition and in working order. It is complete with fitted presentation case/box. The case in good condition with some scuffs and losses to the leatherette. Fritz Piguet were a Geneva based Company who specialized in superbly adjusted watches and supplied ebauches to most of the major watchmakers during the middle of the 19th century, including Patek Philippe. They were the top contenders among those specializing in complicated watches.

A very nice, heavy, large Antique Victorian English Silver Fusee Pocket Watch, made by John Forrest, London, in very good condition and in working order. The English sterling silver case is in excellent condition. It is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "IH" for John Hammon (Watch Case Maker, York Street, Coventry), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Chester town mark and the date letter "R" for 1900/01. The case with decorative engraving, to the rear a central shield shaped cartouche surrounded by a gold garter belt. The case has the serial number 8127 to match the movement dust cover, proving all are original and have been together since new. The English Lever Fusee movement is in good working order. It is key wound and set with the key provided. The movement has a nicely engraved balance cock and is signed "Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty". The dust cover signed "John Forrest, London". The silver dial is in good condition. It has the hours in gold Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The watch measures approximately 57 mm in diameter (excuding stem and bow ring). The weight is 155.6g. Overall a very nice, antique, Gentleman's Silver pocket watch, a nice one for your collection.

A very nice, antique, Victorian 18CT Gold Gentleman's Pocket Watch made by Benjamin King, Glasgow and dating from c1880. The watch with a good English Lever Fusee movement with power reserve indicator. The length of time the watch has ran indicated by the Up/Down subsidiary dial. The movement signed by the maker Benjamin King, Glasgow. It has the serial number 7046 to match the case, proving both are original and have been together since new. It is complete with dust cover. The good quality English made 18CT gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "HCD", the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the London town mark and date letter "E" for 1880/81. The watch measures 48mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 100.1g.

A very nice Antique, Victorian 18CT Gold Centre Seconds Chronograph Hunter Cased Pocket Watch. The heavy, English 18 carat gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "JW", the "crown and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "K" for 1885/86. There are the original owners initials engraved on the front cover. The centre sunk white enamel dial is in excellent condition. It has the hours in roman numerals. The 9 carat solid gold hunter case is English made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "ALD" for A L Dennison, "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham "anchor" town mark and date letter "E" for 1929/30. The case has the initials of the original owner engraved on the front cover. There is also a date engraved on the inner cuvette "1/8/30". The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Waltham USA". The good quality Waltham movement is in excellent working order. It is signed by the maker and has a lovely damaskeened finish. A large "Goliath" Eight Day Pocket Watch, originally retailed by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., 112 Regent Street, London. The white enamel dial with the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. Signed by the retailers "Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., 112 Regent Street, London" and also "8 Days". The dial almost perfect but has a faint hairline originating from the centre towards 10 o'clock. The Swiss made movement in very good condition and working order. The case in excellent condition. The watch in excellent overall condition and working order. This large watch measures 3" inches (76mm) in diameter, across the case (excl. winding stem/bow).

A very elegant, 18CT White Gold Lady's OMEGA Wristwatch. The 18 carat gold watch complete with integral 18 carat white gold bracelet strap. The watch with a nice blue coloured dial, in excellent condition. The dial signed by the maker "OMEGA" and also "Swiss made". The high grade, manual wind, Swiss made OMEGA 17 Jewel movement in good condition and working order. The movement with the calibre no. 484 and serial number 27,748642 dating the manufacture to c1969. The watch case is stamped "18K/0.750" for 18 carat gold alongside Swiss control marks. Also with the "Omega Watch Co" trade mark. The winding stem with the Omega symbol on the button. The watch complete with an integral 18 carat white gold bracelet, the clasp with the Omega symbol. The total length is 180mm. The bracelet is 10mm wide at the watch case, gradually tapering to 6mm wide at the clasp. The watch case measures 15mm x 15mm square. The total weight is 27.8g.
