Antique, Scottish Silver mounted Ram's Horn Snuff Mull dating from c1850. The snuff mull is of conventional form with a "thistle" hinge and applied silver disc to the lid. In very good condition with good colour to the horn. The silver mounts unmarked as is the norm, therefore selling as white metal.

A very good Scottish Silver Ram's Horn Snuff Mull dating from c1850. The Ram's Horn body of the snuff mull in very good condition with good colour and patina. The silver collar and lid in excellent condition. The silver lid has embossed thistle decoration and a central sheild shaped cartouche taht is free of engravings. The silver collar and lid, unmarked as is the norm, therefore must sell as white metal.

A Scottish Provincial Silver Dessrt Spoon made by John Heron of Greenock and dating from c1810. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JH" for John Heron, alongside side the anchor and "Green Oak Tree" mark for Greenock and the letter "C". It has engraved initials and the number "5" engraved on the handle(see photos)

The bowl measures 4" inches in diameter, the height just under 9" inches.

A very nice, Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy or Sauce Ladle made in Aberdeen by James Erskine and dating from c1795. James Erskine is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1792 to 1818. It is marked with the the maker's mark "JE" for James Erskine and three "thistle" marks. It has the initial "B" engraved on the handle. A nice, rare Scottish Silver Ladle.

It measures approximately 6 1/2" inches (170mm) in length
