An exquisite, Victorian English Silver Vinaigrette made by George Unite, Birmingham and dating from c1884. This nicely shaped vinaigrette has crisp, engine turned engraving to both top and base, the top having a shield shaped central cartouche that is free of initials. The top opening to reveal a lovely engraved, pierced grill. It is hallmarked on the inside of the lid with the maker's mark "GU" for George Unite, The Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the Birmingham anchor town mark and date letter "k" for 1884/85. A lovely quality vinaigrette in excellent condition.

Victorian English Silver Vinaigrette, c1884
A very good quality, large, heavy, English Sterling Silver Cream Jug made by Walker & Hall, Sheffield and dating from c1919. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "W&H" for Walker & Hall, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the "crown" Sheffield town mark and date letter "b" for 1919/20. The underside also stamped "Walker & Hall, Sheffield" under the "W&H" flag trade mark. There is also the number 64461. It measures 6" inches (150mm) in width (handle to spout) and 2 1/4" inches (55mm) in height. It is approx. 4" inches (105mm) in diameter at the widest point. The weight is 182g/6.41oz/5.85ozt In excellent condition, no damage, dents nor repairs, showing very little signs of wear.

Large George V, English Silver Cream Jug c1919
A very good quality, large, heavy, English Sterling Silver Teapot made by Walker & Hall, Sheffield and dating from c1919. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "W&H" for Walker & Hall, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the "crown" Sheffield town mark and date letter "b" for 1919/20. The underside also stamped "Walker & Hall, Sheffield" under the "W&H" flag trade mark. There is also the number 64461. The teapot is complete with a strainer that can be lifted out, the border of the strainer not hallmarked so probably white metal. It is stamped "Walker & Hall, Sheffield" and also has the Registration number "Regd. 592672". It measures 10 3/4" inches (270mm) in width (handle to spout) and 5" inches (130mm) in height. It is approx. 6 1/2" inches (165mm) in diameter at the widest point. The weight is 700g/24.7ozoz/22ozt In excellent condition. The inside of the teapot and strainer, tea stained through normal use. Other than that, no damage, dents nor repairs, a couple of very light surface scratches but showing very little signs of wear.

George III English Silver MADEIRA Wine Label 1795
A very nice, Antique, Victorian English Silver Presentation Trowel made by Edward & John Barnard in London and dating from c1855. The trowel is hallmarked with the maker's mark "EB&JB" for Edward & John Barnard, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "U" for 1855/56. The trowel with the presentation inscription "With this trowel, the first stone of "The Sussex Wing" of the Royal Free Hospital, to be erected in memory of His late Royal Highness, the Duke of Sussex, was laid by Alexander Dobie Esq., Provincial Grand Master for Surrey and Grand Registrar of the Fraternity of Free & Accepted Masons of England, acting for the Right Hon. the Earl of Zetland, The Most Worshipful Grand Master on the 30th day of July 1855" The underside of the trowel also engraved with the inscription "Presented to Alexander Dobie Esq., by The Committee of Management of The Royal Free Hospital" The trowel measures 12" inches (310mm) in length. In very good condition although the handle has some hairlines and some movement at the join to the silver section.
